As the AML Supervisory Authority for the accounting profession, CIIPA is charged with registering all accounting firms, monitoring compliance, and issuing guidance, directives and procedures.
Accounting firms providing accounting services including bookkeeping, payroll, and tax advisory are invited to send representatives to one of three Lunch and Learns hosted by CIIPA.
The workshop will cover roles and responsibilities in regard to Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism, as well as provide an overview of the AML/CFT monitoring and inspection process.
This one-day business environment update will give participants an update on the business environment in the Cayman Islands with emphasis on the financial services sector with topical regulatory and legal content.

5. To map out the key concepts, principles, legal bases for processing personal data, and rights of individuals under the new Cayman Data Protection Law in September 2019; and the powers, tools and guidance of the Office of the Ombudsman, charged with the enforcement of the law.
